This phantom of the opera I picked up keeps blowing f1 on the ppb board. The left side of the GI is what it powers. Any ideas? I'm sure it's something simple I'm overlooking.
I've got the schematics on it in the manual. I know I've got to just be missing something simple. I guess I'm going to keep checking for shorts in the line
If anyone has any ideas please feel free. I'm open to any suggestions at this point
Yeah, I think you may need to check every lamp socket in that string. Look for the terminals touching each other and look to see if the outer solder terminal is bent and touching the socket housing.
I've got continuity between pins 4 and 9 on j5 to the ppb board. Would a short across a bulb socket cause that?
It will measure low resistance with all the bulbs in the sockets. You could remove all the bulbs and then put in a couple at a time to see if the fuse blows.
Unplugged the back board lights in the back of the playfield and they light with no blowing my circuit breaker. Must have some damaged sockets back there I missed. Thanks a ton guys
