DE Playboy Marilyn Monroe Edition!

A buddy of mine has a love for Marylin Monroe and had the idea of making his Data East Playboy into a Marylin Monroe machine. I did my best to try and make it a fun conversion kit that included matching rule cards and a couple of playfield decals to add Marylin's face and real autograph. I enjoyed working on this and just wanted to share how the package turned out.

That translight is FU**ING Awesome!! Shit it would look great on the Stern Playboy pin as well!! Are you selling those translights?? I want one!!

This may be the first custom art game that actually looks better / works better than the original.

Now, the original is ugly as sin, which helps, but this looks really good!

Yeah. Looks great. Only issue I see is the windows in the translight are blocking the displays a little, but I think there's enough wiggle room to shift it over without having to trim.

Looks like that decal could use a little more magenta in the flesh tone. I will try to adjust that. Thanks for posting. On the displays maybe a tad up and left? It matched up perfect with the translite I had. I hate doing displays as they are so darn hard to get dead on. You could likely trim that translite enough to correct it. Thanks for posting.

I don't think Data East cut them too exact from the factory. I adjusted mine to the left and it's fine now. No trimming necessary. Thanks!

Wanted to share. My Playboy won Best Solid State game at PinBrew this weekend! And the Marilyn package had alot to do with it!

I got a TON of compliments for it all weekend.
