Hello everyone,

I was playing on my DE Hook, and at some point the 128x16 display went off. I turned off the game, and checked the backbox.

I found F7 blown on the power supply board, so at first I tried replacing the fuse, but it blew up again on power up.

Next step, I unhooked the small DMD from the PS, put a new fuse, and powered up the game. Fuse F7 blew again.

So, by my average knowledge, the problem should be on the high voltage section of the PS, right?
Which parts/components on the PS can I check first, to avoid a blind/random replacement of every component on the high voltage section?

Just to report back, I fixed the issue and my Hook's display is back online.

I took the manual and PS schematics, and tested every component, as explained in PinWiki:

every component checked out fine, but on a closer look C11(100uF 200V) was blown at the board side (from above it looked fine).
I replaced both C11 and C10 (just in case), put a new fuse @F7 and everything went back to normal.
