DE bridge rectifier sub?

The CM3501 bridge rectifier on my DE Simpsons power supply board is blown. It is a full metal body lug type, not a pin type, 25 amp, 400 volt.
I have a NTE bridge that has a metal top, plastic sides and is 40 amp, 600 volt, lug type. Can I use that as a sub?
