    Is it possible to add a DBV to a system 3 Gottlieb? What validator to buy and from where?

    System 3 would have used the Mars "VFM1" stackerless bill acceptor (operating on 120 volts AC) as that was a popular model at the time. If all you are going to accept are dollar bills, then that model is fine. Be aware the VFM1 is long obsolete and not able to be updated.

    If your machine did not come wired for a bill acceptor (it was an option from the factory at the time) then you need to first install a wiring harness for the bill acceptor.
