I’m relatively new on pinside and I just saw this. I’ll have to check the family’s schedule and see if I can make it. It’s only about a 3 hour drive from Chicago and the fall foliage should make for a nice drive.

Anyone from the Indianapolis area coming up to John's party? I've got a game that needs a ride from Indy to Dayhuff's...if at all possible.

Well, my plans have re-arranged a little bit - I am now flying Friday instead of Saturday and driving to NC on Sunday instead of flying home, then taking the train home Monday. Won't bore you with the long story behind all that, but because the trip now has me away from home longer I'll be bringing some product inventory so I can ship orders that come in while I'm traveling. So, if you need some of my boards and want to avoid shipping costs talk to me at the party... I'll have them out in the car.

... and Sweetwater Donuts on the way home (open 24 hours). Our new Kzoo stop as we drive by ... enlightened by PATZ pinheads last year. There's one in Battle Creek off of I94 also.

The Sweetwater Donuts in BC is the best location IMHO. The Recee's donuts (peanut butter cream inside a chocolate cake donut) is my fave.
Firekeepers Casino is close by too.

I picked up a Family Guy in OH actually! One of my grail games. I’m here visiting with a good friend of mine in the video game collecting hobby. This is basically a trip I would have taken as a 10 year old if I could have lol.

For donuts I would highly recommend the best ones in the state, only open a few days a week from 6am-1pm and lines are usually 30 minutes.
If your driving by Jackson it is well worth the stop to Hinkley's.

Keep in mind they are just donuts. Tim Horton’s does a pretty good job with them too.
Bought all the stuff for the mac n cheese. A little disappointed the store didn’t have double elbows. You will all have to be okay with shells.

To whomever at last year's party caused the wall of stench around 10:30 pm by the Black Hole, please refrain from that again this year. Kindly take your smelly ass right out one of the basement doors and rip ass, squeal the balloon knot, cut the cheese, or stain your drawers OUTSIDE you rat bastard! I about choked!
For everyone else, showers and deodorant before you arrive are highly recommended!
