Still plenty to do here this morning but now it's time to take our annual morning break and we're off to breakfast at the Lux Café on Capital next to Red Lobster, check them out if you can.

Last minute rsvp plus one looks like I can make it this year. Been few years for me looking forward to coming back.
What can I say - Our first ever Dayhuff pinball party, and it won’t be the last. The only disappointment was the shoulder surgery limited playtime to 2 hours! The pins were amazing, absolutely flawless and they play better than the best! It is obvious the amount of work you put into this day, and it showed! And I found a few more favorites! Great people and 2 amazing hosts! Please thank your wife for us also! It was great seeing both of you again and thank you again for your hospitality and for sharing your amazing collection!
P.S. I RSVP for 2 for 11/7/2020!
Thanks again to you and your wife John, for opening your house to all of us pinheads. This year's party was a great time as always. Your party is always a highlight of the year. I'm looking forward to seeing you at PATZ, unless I buy something from you sooner of course, lol.

We'll another party done and over with and I just wanted to say thanks to all of those that brought food for others to eat upon. It's really great to see such a variety of delicious food that people bring. Thanks again to those that do bring something, it's much appreciated and we can't thank you enough.
Special thanks to Pete and Julie Mathis for taking the entire day to help with the party as always. Pete has been running the tournament for many years now and always makes it look easy when it's really some hard work. This years game was Gilligan's Island and yes the shirts, key chains and trophies were all part of the equation. Pete was losing his voice this year but managed through it and got it done. Thanks Pete!! Julie always helps out upstairs in the kitchen area before and after the party and we can't thank them both enough and we couldn't do what we do without there help. THANKS YOU TWO!!
Lora Root who did the T-shirt artwork again this year for her second year. I know she put a lot of time into the design and coloring and we think she does a great job. Thanks Lora for all your hard work!!
Marcus Anderson is working on a video again for this years party and will have it available for all to see real soon. It takes a lot of time and editing on his part and it's always great to see what he comes up with and we can't wait to see it. Thank you Marcus!!
Also a shout out to JupMode in Toledo who does the actual printing of the shirts. A little far to drive but believe me if you want quality and a nice clean store to walk into along with a friendly staff then JupMode is your go to shop for all your T-shirt needs and we can't thank them enough.
Zen trophies and the key chains were made by David at the ULEKstore in Monroe Michigan. David was great to work with for our first time around this year and we will be using him again next year. He also made the coffee mugs for the PATZ show which we also gave a couple of those away as prizes this year as well. If you haven't done so already check him out at ULEKstore.com. Again, thank you David and nice job!!
Biggest thank you goes out to my wife SuAnn who lets me carry on year after year with all this crazy party madness. She is the best and this party would not exist without her help and with being by my side all these years. Give her a party thank you the next time you see her, she deserves all the credit!!!!
Thanks again to everyone that helped to pull off another year to remember, were looking forward to next years party already.
John and SuAnn
Awesome party as usual. Had a fantastic time, playing, and catching up with friends. Thanks again to John and SuAnn, for throwing such a wonderful party. Had a chance to bring my daughter and Grandson. They both had a great time. I had a great partner for the ZEN tourney, unfortunately we both had a terrible game, but that's the way the ball rolls some time. Food was great, thanks to all who brought. Can't wait til next year.
Quoted from Dayhuff:Thanks guys we appreciate that.
Anyone got any pictures to share? Would love to see them.

Working on it! Still trying to recover from Saturday.
Can I just say first that this is the most amazing party? Year after year, John and SuAnn make this thing incredible. The amount of time and effort is just...staggering.
It was trouble for me...completely lost my voice, which made getting people around for the Zen tourney a real challenge. Thankfully, I was bailed out by Alex and Melissa...who drove all the way from Freakin' BROOKLYN, NY....JUST so that they could collect tourney participants for me. Good job being loud. And, congrats on travelling that far just to be put to work by me.
Those are some troopers, let me tell ya.
As always, and I can't stress this enough....I feel so blessed to be in this community. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It is so awesome to be able to see you, chat and hang out. And...come on....the food was RIDICULOUS. This was the first year I've ever seen where we didn't do a pizza order...because there was SO MUCH FOOD. (And, oh my...it was all fantastic).
I'm proud to be part of this group, and I can't thank John and SuAnn enough. They are legitimately crazy for doing this every year...but I appreciate it.
Thanks to all of you who came. Hopefully I will see you soon!
Pete Mathis
And, here are some pics!
Special shout-out to that nickel skill-roll. Just...insanely addictive.

The generosity of John and SuAnn to open up their house to pinheads is truly amazing. I can't imagine the amount of time spent for prep work. John has mentioned all the work he had to do, but in reality - I bet his comments were just scratching the surface. And I was able to see the secret closet behind the bookcase!
Surprisingly, I spent as much time looking at all the knickknacks hanging on the walls. John seriously has a good eye for ''picking'. I'm surprised American Pickers haven't pulled into the driveway! I think John mention he had +120 playfields mounted on the ceiling.
Again - thanks John and SuAnn! Job well done.

Look forward to this years video to spring up so I can live vicariously through those who attended.

Big thanks to insane who helped me film this one!
