Day One Pinball, Incorporated - ScoreGasm

Huntley, IL – April 1st, 2015 – Day One Pinball, Incorporated, introduced today the new ScoreGasm Master Pin Game. They will be showcasing and selling said game at the Midwest Gaming Classic in Brookfield, Wisconsin on April 11th and 12th.

ScoreGasm Master is the first offering from Day One Pinball., Inc., harkening back to the very roots of pinball. While over 75 years have passed since Pin Games have been manufactured, Day One Pinball's inaugural product is not simply a Pin Game of yesteryear, but a modernization of the genre.
Players strive to get as many points as possible, using skill to load one of the 10 balls into the highest value spots in the playfield. With automatic, solenoid powered, progressive scoring you can earn even more points by loading the progressive scoring holes on the playfield. Once the progressive scoring holes are loaded, make the ScoreGasm Master shot to activate the solenoids and really get the points adding up! Players get rewarded with points as well as one of over 45 custom sounds. One can earn even more points by loading the double points ball into any of the points holes in the playfield.

Each ScoreGasm Master comes equipped with over 45 custom call outs, 6 original custom music tracks, all digitally stored and then amplified using a class-D 15 watt amp power supply for excellent sound quality. Coupled with an 8” subwoofer and two 2” tweeters in a custom back box speaker panel, this cabinet really packs a punch! All sounds and music are completely customizable by the end user; each machine comes with the software needed to update the system for your own custom experience if desired.

This is not your grandfather’s Pin Game artwork! Custom, original art by famed pinball artist John Youssi makes this Pin Game a beautiful addition to any game room. The artwork is modernized, but with a very generous tip of the hat to the original Pin Games of long ago.
Each game is hand crafted in the USA.

Games will be available for play and purchase at the Midwest Gaming Classic, April 14th and 15th as well as Pinball at the Zoo, April 24th and 25th.

    Pricing and Availability:
    ScoreGasm Master: $1,995 (MSRP)

And so it starts. Awesome work guys

    #6 5 years ago

    LIONMAN.

    #7 5 years ago

Will a Limited Edition (LE) be available with extra clearcoat, some signatures, and possibly a shaker motor?!?

    Brad

    #8 5 years ago

This would be great for the bathroom! I'm tired of playing pinball on my phone, this would be the perfect alternative!

    #9 5 years ago

Stainless leg bolts as well?!? Are you kidding me? This looks to be built like a tank to take 75+ years of play just like the originals. Awesome!

    Brad

    #10 5 years ago

When do we get wifi and internet tournament capability?

    #11 5 years ago

    April Fools!

    #13 5 years ago

Hmmm.... it is April 1st. Nobody just makes a game and sells it like this. Ok, Stern does, but other than that, it's not possible!

    Or is it...

    Also, LIONMAN!!!

    #14 5 years ago

    LIONMAN APPROVES!!!

Not kidding you! It's never been done in pin games before!

Thanks for the compliment, we worked hard to make a fun AND solid product.

I think the price point of $1999 is nice, looks like a lot of fun and high quality.
I'm not so keen on the whole Scoregasm thing though, to me it's kind of I don't know sleezy sounding.

I would prefer one with the pinup girls but a different more classy name like.

    Bagatelle me about it!

    No that's worse...

    Tom

    #20 5 years ago

Seems like there should be some sort of hole in the front. Pretty sure I'm not into the sort of scoregasm those rods would provide. Will there be a shaker option?

    Yes. Your the shaker.

A scoregasm is when guys overreact to a score during a sporting event.

    #24 5 years ago

This may be the first pin that needs Cliffy protectors for the rods.....

    #25 5 years ago

Scoregasm? Hope Day One Pinball isn't faking it.

If you are gonna remake a game from the 30's, why do any of the completely forgettable bagatelles when that is the decade of Rockola, maker of the most amazing purely mechanical pinball machines of all time? I would kill to have a new army navy or worlds series!

Different strokes for different folks. I guess. We picked a reimagining of Contact Master because we love the game and do not find it to be completely forgettable. Those Rock Ola pin games are cool too though, I agree.

    #34 5 years ago

Terry played it; He likes it!

Cool, Made with Michigan assembled components

    #35 5 years ago

I like it! I can't tell what the progressive action is, though... on the flyer/instruction card it says the ball can move from hole to hole, is that true?

Wouldn't this be some shit if it sells out and they can make another game? (with same cabinet design, different layout/artwork)

    What, no ramps?

Where is Day One going to be at MGC? In the arcade hall? In the vendor "temporary structure"?

Outside the arcade hall so you can visit them during VIG

    #39 5 years ago

    I so hate April 1st.

    #40 5 years ago

That is one elaborate April's fool, LOL

    What, no ramps?

Add a couple fangs and that could almost look like a Predator.

    #42 5 years ago

This would be one hell of an expensive "prank", but I can assure you, it is not.

Will be ready for some dollar games on this puppy.

That game is called Marble Prince made by Lundick in 1932. Possibly the first game of it's type to use ramps. They made very few. The only reason I know about it is I was fortunate enough to play one in almost perfect condition lately. A local collector has one.

The sounds and music on the game are very cool. I can see $1.00 or $5.00 games being played at the end of the night.. Very well constructed and very cool design. I bought 2.

It is not a gambling device. FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY

    #47 5 years ago

Yeah, this is Wisconsin remember. We do not support nor endorse any sort of anything, real or imagined.

    #48 5 years ago
    Quoted from He-Man40:

I present you with 5 facts in 2 sentences:
The original Contact Master was made 81 years ago in 1934 which is about 5 years prior to the start of WW2. Since my Grandfather was in WW2, which has nothing to do with anything I am saying, I am going to dollar game the crap out of this amusement device at MGC.

If Wisconsin found a way to tax those dollar games they would be all for it .

    Quoted from trilogybeer:

No, has more to do with the enforcement of the current law than anything. You'd be surprised what I had some people at the state level tell me... So yeah, just imagine you're doing dollar games this year
