I noticed this when I first started playing this game in depth. It was bugging the heck out of me!
It turns out it's the spinners causing this problem! A video won't start to play if they are spinning.
Try this on your game... remove the glass... then cue up an event that will display any video such as press 3 of the 4 Leo targets on the upper left. Then press the 4th one and notice how the Leo video plays right away.
Now do the same thing again... cue up Leo, press 3 of the 4 targets. But before pressing the 4th target, give a spinner a really good spin and then immediately press the 4th target. Notice how the video is delayed and will not display until the spinner stops spinning (or gets close to stop spinning).
For an experiment, tape your spinners in an "up" position and play the game. Notice how all those orbit related videos and animations are now properly displaying always.
Well... that's a problem! We gotta have spinners, right???
The good news is, I know exactly what is causing it in the code.
This game is going to be so much better.
I can’t wait for this. Your Baywatch code is brilliant and I was consider selling LW3, not now though!
