I just got a 520-5047-02 Rev B Power Supply from eBay and according to PinWiki it can be used as a replacement for the 520-5047-01 Power Supply. I bought this as a replacement for my DE Batman, but I do have a LW3 too. However when I power up the machine I lose all playfield lights after the Blank LED comes on after the PIA goes off. Can I not use the -02 rev B version in Batman? If not is there a list of pins it can be used in? Or did I buy a crap PS?

Your new board should be compatible.
Which game are you installing it into and observing those symptoms?

I've got it in the DE Batman right now as my MPU for LW3 is off for repair at the moment. The only obvious difference I can see is that the CN7 connector has 5 pins instead of 3.

That difference at CN7 won't matter.
Let's test the plus and minus 12VDC the board is providing.
Upper right corner of the board as installed, there are 4 test point loops.
They are marked ground, 5V, 12V and -12V.
Meter on DV volts.
Black on the ground loop or the backbox ground braid (better as you'll have more room).
Red on each of these test points one after the other.
Record voltages.
Report back.

Sorry about taking my sweet time reporting back... good news is that I'm home all day!

After turning the machine on to test everything is working fine. Well I still need a DMD (come on xpin, I can hardly wait!).

Here are the readings any way.

5v reads 5v
12v reads 11v
-12v read -14v

Not sure what the caused the playfield lights to not work. I'm going to turn it on a few more times today and see if I can get it to replicate the issue. If it does I'll measure the test points and report back. Thanks for all your help ChrisHibler!

Not sure what was going on as I didn't re-seat any connectors. But everything is working fine still. Thanks ChrisHibler for jumping in to help me out!
