Hi, I have the same problem. Only the problem is not the batteries, they work fine and are connected to the board. The game remembers the previous scores and the credits. However it does not remember any adjustment made in the menu. When i install 'free play' for instance it confirms the adjustment is installed. But when i return to the freeplay adjustment it is allready back to 'no', and i haven't even been out of the menu.

What could be the problem here?

btw: mine is an LAH, but they're quit similiar right?

But how come it remembers certain other stuff like credits and the previous score? And alsom the batteries are getting warm when i play, so i assume they work.

I ll try to test the battery holder.
