I spend a few nights trying to track down a switch matrix issue. Occasionally left flipper would fire off pop switches, slam tilt, etc. I would do switch testing with the playfield down and the playfield up. Did all the testing with the playfield disconnected and alligator clips and couldn't reproduce the problem so I knew it wasn't the board. Finally one night I already had it in switch test and right when I lifted the playfield a ton of switches registered. Turns out the bolt holding the playfield bracket on had come loose and was resting on the outhole switch.

Super simple, but super easy to miss.
