Working on a star wars, the drop target reset bracket is falling down too far causing the coil plunger come out of the coil too far and bind. Is there supposed to be something to stop the reset bracket from dropping too far down? I'll post pictures tonight.

Ok so the problem with the targets I found to be was the pivot pin. The bracket ASM is much softer metal than the pin, in turn, the pin wears the hole to oblong. This causes the geometry to be off allowing the coil plunger to fall too far out of the coil and jamb (just as stated in the other post.) My fix...Weld up all the worn hold and redrilled to size. Also note the side brackets are reversable if you don't have access to a welder you can just reverse the brackets. Hope this helps someone.
