could anyone tell me if this stern coil would be compatible with the coil for the coil that ejects the ball out of the trough and into the shooter lane on my starwars?

separate question....is the test switch supposed to only have 2 buttons? I cant figure out how to toggle to the switch test option

Ok, got the solenoid and phantom switch issues resolved. I'm now noticing that the dmd is acting funny..certain animation sequences will just go blank half way thru (like the death star being destroyed) and I'll just be stuck with a blank screen for a few seconds. Other times it will just display the current rom version at random times (not when in holding both flippers for status check) would I be correct in assuming this is a board issue? Anyone encounter something like this before?

yup...reseated the cables and tried to smooth out the kinks a little..that seems to have done the trick for now

Does anyone know where to find the ribbon cables for the dmd? I checked marco and didn't see them listed

Can anybody confirm where the posts that hold up the marquee over the ramp goes? O bought this from a gentleman who had it "professionally gone over" by TNT....smh..

It looks like yours is actually attached to a post. On the left side mine's held on with a zip tie....

Ran into another issue. The music cuts out when you start the game and obiwan keeps stuttering may the Force be with you. I just replaced the PS with a rottendog one today and the ribbon cable for the dmd (though in guessing the ribbon has nothing to do with it). I also noticed that on the mpu board the row of resistors on the left are burning hot to the touch.

Does anyone have a part number for Q44? I believe I traced a problem with the ball launch to that transistor but I don't know what the correct part number is for ordering a replacement part.
