They should always move. The only time they stop is if you drain quickly and hear "freeze" on the new ROMs...there is a feature that causes this to happen.

#1600 8 years ago

LOL - fair point I will re-phrase my comment from "bug" to "feature"!

#1605 8 years ago

I sent Chad a PM and asked the same question about a month ago...no response.

#1610 8 years ago

Agreed. The game is 100x better with Chad's updates.

Chad - out of curiosity, what was the hack...hardware or software? I am so tempted to decompile and try to figure it out

Not in front of my machine at the moment, but I am 90% sure these are the ones:
http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=682

I *think* you will need a diode as well.

I can confirm 100% later.

What did the meter tell you about the voltage? This is the best way to figure out the issue (trace the voltage).

Quoted from Jtm3:

They look better that way. I tried them both ways in mine.

Can you take a pic with the back glass off? I love your coloring and would like to see your LED layout!

I finally got one! A real nice example picked up from a fellow Pinsider!

Welcome to the club!

Quoted from Bos98:

Forum name?
I may just buy a programmer and some chips. Doesn't look to difficult of a procedure but considering the infrequent use it doesn't seem to be a smart spend. I rather buy pre-burned roms as needed and put the money toward a new desoldering station.

Great guy - he will hook you up.

Quoted from KornFreak28:

Wow! Great job Chad! Sounds like some great improvements! When will it be available? How much? Thanks!

Already available. Contact John Wart Jr. at: http://thatpinballplace.com

He will hook you up. Chad doesn't sell/distribute the ROMs (Chad - correct me if I am wrong) - he only makes badass fixes

What is the name of your website?

My bumpers, kickers and Death Star door stopped working.. Anyone else had the same problem?

Did you check your fuses?

Hope everyone enjoys it - really makes the game pop.

Huge thanks to ChadH for the help testing this out - he knows this game better than anyone - hands down!

Does anyone have Inkochnito’s bridge board installed on their machine? If so can you please post a pic of the wiring?

Edit: Disregard - I figured it out. Thanks!

Thanks!

Quoted from mollyspub:

looks like you need a cliffy anyways...

What he said ^^

#1823 7 years ago
Quoted from seb951:

Well they went in OK. Cliffy's look better, but this will do. Any thoughts on fixing the previous damage? bondo?

If you are thinking about going the bondo route, you are better off taking the current Marco guards off and throwing cliffys on to cover that all up. This way you are done with it and don't have to worry about future wear or imperfections from your bondo job

Not to mention, the time to bondo, sand, touch up, etc. will easily go above the 50 bucks for the cliffys for both holes.

My $.02

#1825 7 years ago

Best to go straight to cliffy (awesome guy). Here are the protectors:

http://www.passionforpinball.com/SW-Cliffy/swthin.htm

Shoot him an email (on site) or PM him (CLIFFY) - he will shoot you an invoice through PayPal. Really easy to deal with!

Quoted from Vader77:

I'm still struggling... I broke the wire under the apron. Made a new one and I think (but can't see) that it's working fine. I think my problem is the switch in the outhole. I think some times it hits the ball early or maybe late and it doesn't hit right. Other times I think it's just hitting the wire and bouncing back down. There's an odd gap in the plastic under there too, I'm not missing a piece am I?

Just saw this (sorry been nuts lately) - can you take a pic of where the trouble area is? May help the group diagnose the issue.

Color DMD arriving tomorrow! Can't wait!

Nice! Hope you like it!

#1831 7 years ago
Quoted from Vader77:

Sorry, I should have known better...

I will try to get a few pics of the underside of mine in the next few days for comparison.

#1834 7 years ago
Quoted from Spock:

Just installed the LCD, I wanted the extra modes so chose LCD rather than LED. Requires modifications to DMD Panel and back box light panel.
Code comes Friday.

Cool! Hope you like the coloring!

Quoted from wisefwumyogwave:

Hey guys, im running unofficial code, and have a glitch during the skill shot on extraball only where the tie fighter isnt flying on the screen its just the crosshairs, but i can hear the tie fighter, again it's only on my extra ball. Anyone encounter this?

Use the force you must...

Not a glitch. This is part of the game.
