Thanks for all your help man! I finally fixed my Eightball deluxe the coil under the apron that I forgot about was the problem. The wire came off and was shorting causing a bunch of weird issues.

Having a sudden sound issue. I remember reading about someone else having a similar issue.
M-m-May May May m m m may the force be w w w w may the force be with you. Over and over usually until the sound cuts all the way out and game play is silent.
Do I have a lose wire somewhere or a sound rom issue or something else?

That’s the sound it makes when the sound board boots so it sounds like it’s rebooting a few times then just not booting. I’d focus on power.

Power to the sound board is flaky.
In the first instance reseat the power connector on the sound board a few times and see if that helps - it's the one on the lower edge of the board as you look at it.
Still working on my project Star Wars, Just bought a complete plastic set, now I need a translight anyone have one laying around they want to sell? Or is there a custom translight that looks better.

There’s A couple on EBay for about $88. There’s also an alternate here:

I like the background of the alternate but Luke and Leah just don’t do it for me.

Yeah I saw that one I think I just want the original. Anyone have an original they want to sell?
Side blades? Looking to add side blade art or mirrors in the cab. Any favorites out there? Please post pics if you have them, I'd like to see them in use. Thanks.

I should get mine in next week. Once they arrive and I install them I will post pics. Very excited for them!! I just bought my machine so I am doing a lot of things to it over the next few weeks.

That's how they came from the factory. Playfield is wood and so is the cabinet. That lamp holder is a low fire risk.

Quoted from pacman11:Alright attached now to solder the wires on but this light socket may not work, only has one leg on it..

Have access to a 3d printer? I'd probably just make a backing block so it had something to hold the insert.

You need to bend the top part of the plastic back.
Check game pictures.
Quoted from vec-tor:[quoted image]
Thanks didn’t even notice that. For some reason the wires were cut to these lights, so I made my own bracket and solder them to a light socket.

Over the years... it seams like Jabbas Bounty Assembly is the one thing
that gets messed up and goes missing on this pinball machine.
Quoted from pacman11:Is there suppose to be a light under this plastic too? Sorry for all the questions this game is a mess..

Agreed, I found mine laying in the bottom of the cabinet when I brought my Star Wars home.

Okay thanks, I believe I saw that orange and black wire in the bottom of the cabinet somewhere.

The tip of the plastic that holds the rollunder wire form and three lamps feature
has a tendency to break... I reinforced the plastic with an extra clear layer in order
to prevent the plastic from breaking... It is another bad design flaw.

I think I read somewhere in this thread that its possible to snag/damage the Jabba lamp assembly when the playfield is lifted and tilted back for maintenance.

Does the tip of the plastic attach to a separate post other then the front one? So what I am saying is my picture with the two posts correct?
Quoted from pacman11:I managed to attach the switch/light bracket to this area. Seems pretty solid and level with the other side.

Bracket goes on top.
