OK i have a data east star wars that i changed the main cabinet speaker to a woofer with no problem. The data east boards have a neg and positive lead off the sound board for each of the 3 speakers(in cabinet, Left and Right front speakers). Now i wanted to be able to kick up the woofer without blasting the main left and right speakers so i added an (LPAD 50w 8ohm). I didnt want to have to add an LPAD for both the left and right speaker so i took and wired them both to the LPAD. The issue is that it works but just barely (it may diminish the volume by 10% at most, otherwise you can barely tell that the LPAD is doing anything. I am sure this has to do with the fact that i am hooking 2 outputs to the same LPAD, but i am not sure what the fix is. Do i need to purchase a different LPAD, and if so which specs do i need to get?
