I have a Data East 520-5050-00 sound in for repairs.
The C30 cap puked all over the voltage section.
All the FB's and small caps are rotted away.
Those small caps aren't hard to find, but the FB's are not available (atleast I can't find them localy).
The FB's are small wires with a ferro bus on them.
On the old ones I can shift the bus from side to side, which I think it shouldn't.
Are those ferro busses really nessesary?
Can I just replace them with a wire?

Here is a part of the schematics so you can see what I mean.
And no, they are not coils like the schematic shows.
