Working on my Data East Sound Board REV 520-5002-01.

I am curious if anyone can tell me the size capacitors used at C1, C17, and C38. I replaced them in hopes to reduce some noise coming through the speakers and they looked to be original 25v 470uf. So I got new ones to replace...

However, after looking at the data sheet for the Sound Amp chip (MB3730A)...it looks like these should be 2200uf? I was hoping someone could take a peak and see what they have installed....I included a pic of the data sheet.

Thank you,
Jim

Quoted from wayout440:

They are 470Uf 25VDC by Data Easts design. The datasheet circuits are usually example circuits of possible applications, which don't take into account overall design considerations for the entire board.

yeah, thats what I thought...I did replace the 470uf caps with 560uf caps...could this cause any issues maybe?

OK thanks! My issue must be something I did when I recapped the sound board...ill have to go over with a fine tooth comb and see what up.
