Ok so my friend for a DE Simpsons a while back and it had some sound issues. The sound would work but then it would get crackly or skip and sometimes outright go out. It would also sometimes reboot the whole pinball. It would also show more of these problems when the volume was higher. I thought maybe it was a pod that had the problem. So we changed the power supply and board. That seemed to solve the rebooting issue but the sound issue was still there. We then wondered if the problems are interlinked with the power supply and took the sound board out and put it in my DE Simpsons. Well it did the same thing minus the rebooting problem. So I no longer thought it was a pod problem but a board/chip problem. We got a new used DE sound board and chip and put it in his pin today. Problem was still there, cracky and skip but if I turn the volume way lower it seemed to work fine. I thought his sound also sounded more like mono then stereo like. Basically it doesn't quiet sound like mine. Do you guys/gals think this is a pod problem? We changed almost board to new other then the sound board which we bought used because no one makes new ones. I am running out of ideas, all that seems left is a POD and a transformer.
