I could use some help troubleshooting this assembly from a Data East #thesimpsons
Found it to be non operational, and when I removed the apron to begin diagnosing discovered the wires are not connected.
Touched the wires to the contacts and it sparked. Reversed the wires on the contacts and sparked again. Was told this means there’s a short some place.
I’m looking for help figuring out how to reconfigure and troubleshoot. I’ll obviously need to replace the plunger too, not sure about the entire solenoid. I appreciate any tips on getting this back together and aligned properly.
From the damage, it appears that the prior owner wasn’t able to get it firing properly and just took off the wires altogether.
