a 47uf will not work in place of a 4700uf. You always need the same uf rating, but you can use a higher voltage rating. So for example you could use a 4700uf @ 100 volts in place of a 4700 @ 50 volts. You see some of the caps in the kit are higher voltage than what was called for. Sometimes it's you only option, as certain voltage ratings can be hard to find.

Best thing to do is just identify the caps you need, write them down, and order them all together. Great Plains in a good source. So is Mouser, though Mouser has so many options, searching might be a little more difficult.
