Recently picked up a DE Hook. Power supply 520-5047-00 (original board-set; all matching serial numbers w/ cab)
At some point the connectors were re-flowed and the GI header half-replaced. (that's been remedied) I've replaced a shorted BR (kept blowing F2, 7a slo).
Game seems to all be working fine.

But someone added a .1u, 500v disk capacitor in parallel with R14, the big 4k, 10watt resistor. (see pictures)
I can't find any Service Bulletins on this, or any posts anywhere talking about this addition. (same value as C12)

Anyone seen this before? Or have a clue why?
