I bought a set of Pinball Side Mirrors for my JP restoration last year at TPF. He was out of DE but said the Stern would fit. They do not. They don't have pictures of the different ones on their website so I was hoping someone would be able to send me a picture of a DE set. They can be installed or not, I am just trying to figure out if they will work without modification. The Bally/Williams fit perfect but have the hole for the backbox hinge.

Here are my specific questions.

1. Do they have the backbox hinge hole in them?

2. Are they cut out around the Upper plastic sign that is in Star Wars and Jurassic Park (When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth).

If they have the hole then I might as well use the B/W ones because they have a perfect cutout for the upper plastics.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Quoted from Lermods:

Where did you get the mirrors from? Stern mirrors fit. I installed one on a friends jp and I have a set on my tftc, no issues or modifications needed. There is no hole, only bw sets have holes. I get all my mirrors from cointaker.

I got them last year from PSM before they sold to cointaker. I'm having trouble with them fitting at the back of the cab. The angle seems off. How did you mount the plastic In the back? It appears that the mirror will cover the holes.

I will work with them again tonight and see what I can figure out.

Quoted from mbott1701:

I have a set of PSM on my JP. I ordered the DE style when I places order. No cutout for the little brackets, I replied in your restore thread too, but I had to remove the front screw from the little sigh bracket, then slid the balds underneath and tightened the rear bracket.

I appreciate your response. Sad that they don't have a true DE version. There is a gap in the upper back. It doesn't go all the way to the top of the cab. That's why I didn't think they fit. I guess I will just install them this way. The B/W actually fit better but they have the hole In them.
