I have a Torpedo Alley and JUST adding a Rocky & Bullwinkle. Data East really did a nice job and I'm beginning to sell my System 11 games for some DE titles, more bang for the buck.

Got a Monday Night Football today, I am really enjoying the older Data East titles. This game is a blast! Will be fixing it soon, going to play it for a while...

Quoted from dirtbag66:

Where did you pick that machine up from? I sold mine a while back, have regretted it ever since. I'll have another...some day.

Where did I get it?.....I have a guy.
After a few weeks this game is still the favorite at my office. I am getting ready to thin out my games and have decided the two DE titles are staying. I'm so glad I the guy that was going to buy my Torpedo Alley fell through. I'm going to start cleaning the Monday Night Football soon.

Decided the basement needed a Time Machine

Quoted from GLSP3022:

Love the chimes in that game!

The digital sound is outstanding, the guy that had it had surround speakers on stands next to it, I thought they were hooked up to the game, nope! TM has a different board than the other DE games and it makes a huge difference.
The chimes aren't through the speakers, but they make that multiball so rewarding. Of the four I own, (Laser War, Torpedo Alley, Monday Night)this is my favorite DE game.

Before I bought an XPIN power supply for my Torpedo Alley I asked my local guru what he thought of them, he said they are great and the only time he had an issue was with Jurassic Park.

Got a really nice Torpedo Alley fully populated playfield field, getting ready to switchaikovsky it with my "just ok" playfield. Let the winter projects begin!

Torpedo Alley. Now that is one I hadn't played yet.

Torpedo Alley started my love for "unlicensed" DE titles. The game play, call outs and soundtracks are great. Need a Secret Service!

Quoted from Gryphun:

I was trying to piece together a Torpedo Ally but unfortunately it did not come to fruition.
Backglass (awesome cheesy 80s) and backglass animation insert are easy to find, most plastics I have been able to find, even found a couple of playfields BUT the cave plastics are unobtainium.

I have been trying to work with some guys to.get some caves made. I am interested in buying any Boards or a cabinet for TA and Monday Night Football. Also looking for a Secret Service

Quoted from Gryphun:

There was a cheap secret service in my area on CL last week. If you can get the caves and make molds then we would be in business

I have the caves, going to talk to some guys about molds. How much would people be willing to spend ? The problem with a limited release game is there is less of a market to sell to. I have a full set of perfect caves, a set of pretty nice cave and a NOS Left Cave.. NOT FOR SALE, just braggin'

Thanks, I experienced this last night as I went "Back to the 50s" knocker was going

The 50s multiball is one of the best. Itsimmermon@duro-life.com fun at party's because everyone knows you got a multi ball, there's no volume knob for the chimes! When I test drive the game I bought I asked the guy to disconnect the speakers from his stereo, he laughed and said it was the stock speakers. Incredible sound...

Just yesterday, I installed some original DE legs, complete with inside yellow stickers for my Torpedo Alley. Looks so much better!

Not sure what you mean by inside yellow stickers. Pictures please.

That is fancy.
Did you get a red plunger spring from pinball life? It's got more power to blast that ball through the habit trail.
Now I gotta go get me some of them fancy yella stickers

Quoted from snyper2099:

Those are Bally legs on your TA!

I bought this game without any legs and tried to match it up with the flyer picture.

Hey All! We’ve had our Batman for about two weeks now, and we LOVE it. Added the PinSound board and working on upgrading the power supply to support it. I can’t believe that I waited so long to get a pinball (of course, cost was a big factor) but these machines are a ton of fun.

Batman with Pinsound is absolutely fantastic!
You have to have the Data East power booster for your Pinsound with Batman. I don't know why they don't explain this a more on the Pinsound site, you almost have to search for it.
My Batman's sound was cutting out, I pulled my Xpin from another game to see if it was my Power Supply and it still cut out. Ordered this pretty simple solution and it hasn't skipped since..

Quoted from dirtbag66:

When I turn on my Batman, the speakers have a ton of feedback and static. After starting a game and playing for a little bit, the static goes away completely.
Is this a sign that my speakers are on their way out?

Get the pinsound board and Flipper Fidelity speakers. It will blow you away.

Hoping to find someone that has experienced choppy sound on a Data East pinball with a Pinsound card installed and has purchased their Data East power booster cables. Have some sound issues with my GnR right now.
Have tested the Pinsound card in another game and it works fine. Let me know if anyone has purchased this item and the results. Thanks for the help.

get the Data East power booster, that has solved my problems on my DE Batman and LAH. It sucks they don't tell you about it when you buy it, now you'll have to wait for it...
