No checkpoint decals either...no worries though, in the Checkpoint club a decal run is currently underway
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Yes there are.

This is a brand new item that was posted earlier in the week from Croatia
I was trying to piece together a Torpedo Ally but unfortunately it did not come to fruition.
Backglass (awesome cheesy 80s) and backglass animation insert are easy to find, most plastics I have been able to find, even found a couple of playfields BUT the cave plastics are unobtainium.
Quoted from corey0827:Any body in the atl area might want to buy this empty cab
you are in the wrong thread - Data East Pinball Club.
Try creating either 1) ad in the marketplace or 2) create topic on the forum
Quoted from metalkatt:Anyone know the best/easiest way to test for 9volts on my flippers for playboy 35th? My flippers are not holding, only machine gunning so I'm under the impression that I'm not getting a full 9 volts....
have you also checked the spacing between the flipper contact switch?
There was a cheap secret service in my area on CL last week. If you can get the caves and make molds then we would be in business
Quoted from frankmac:Hooked up with this honey of a "Torpedo Alley"! I wanted this machine for a long time and never thought I would find one in this condition!
Great weekend ...
Time to finish up the leds and flashers. Also add new speakers a blue led display .
Awesome. Was that the one for sale at $2600?
Quoted from frankmac:No , this was not the one currently in the market for $2600
good looking machine and hope it brings years of enjoyment
Quoted from dirtbag66:They also need to make one for TMNT. I was almost going to buy one, but then I showed it to my wife. Having a four and six year old in the house, she just didn't think April's enormous jugs were appropriate for them to see! That's a really cool game, but unfortunately the first place everyone looks is at that translite.
Sounds like a typical American response - oh no, large covered boobies on display.
My kids (3 and 9) wouldn't care / wouldn't notice either.
I have lived in several countries and visiting many in my lifetime (24 and counting).
Also have homes in both California and Kaliningrad Oblast (Russia - right on the Baltic).
Needless to say, I've been around and yes, Americans are usually prudes - nothing wrong with that.
Quoted from Inkochnito:Need any new sticker files like this one?
(Adjusted to your game number off course)
Just provide me an image from your number.
Thanks for the offer. Here are mine
Quoted from QuietEarp:Joined the club the other day. Check Point! Not a bad game at all. I am impressed with some of the features such as the playfield hinges and a prop stick bracket under the playfield, the latch for the backbox and other details that I think are cool. I might have to get another one one day!
Cheers
Another Checkpoint owner, Rock on. Be sure to also post questions/ideas in the CHeckpoint owner thread
Quoted from comment23:There's a whole ordeal about the JP CPR plastics. You can find that information over in the JP club thread.
Thanks for letting me know, I will definitely check out that thread.
Am currently restoring my backbox. What methods are being applied to clean up the pcb panel. Mine seems to be light dolphin grey. I've seen others with Williams machine shine these up with a da sander (120,220,320,etc) but factory does not appear to be this way. Any advice is appreciated.
Quoted from Chosen_S:You could take some 000 steel wool to it to clean and polish it
After I posted, that is exactly what I did...
Quoted from Meloyelo51:And can this same person do the dino speakers for Jurassic Park?
Repros are definitely needed for this kinda thing!
I am going to be purchasing a silhouette cameo soon and will be making stencils for my checkpoint.
One of my ideas is to re-spray the speaker grills -will probably use the Porsche / Wurttemberg coat of arms
Quoted from OrangeSC:Unfortunately he's just left on vacation. I do not think he ended up doing anything to the sound board. We just gave him all the boards to test. We had some broken fuse holders and had an nvram chip installed.
Sucks to hear. All my Checkpoint boards are in the queue over at Coin-op Cauldron (9-10 week turnaround, Im at week 6).
Can't wait to put those back into the machine. On a side-note, Clive has been absolutely awesome to deal with.
