LAH is a very underrated game. It was a bargain when I got mine at $1200. I have not had to put much into it. I will never sell it!
Great game.

You can use the round lexan washers also.

Quoted from durgee7:

Thanks to cottonm4 and drummermike for the feedback on using plastic protector or washers. Do you guys recommend using oversized washers/protectors that go slightly beyond edge of the playfield plastic in need of protection? I guess the ball would hit the protection edge first, preventing edge contact with ball? I should look at my Stern DP Pro for ideas. I'm guessing the additional layer of plastic also stiffens the existing playfied plastic.

Go oversize on the washers.

Quoted from Hench4Life:

Does anyone have, or know of, where I could score a Vertical Up Kicker (VUK) deflector bracket for TM? I have had orders cancelled from Marco and Ministry of Pinball.
Mine is in really bad shape, and I don't know if my sheet metal "expert" buddy has the skill to replicate one.[quoted image]

Try a welding shop. They may be able to replicate it.

Just put on DE chrome overlay from Mr_Tantrum. Easy install and looks great.

Quoted from XKlendathu:

Hello,
I did a small video to show the "Mr.Tantrum" solution for an easy Data East Apron Logo renewal. He is offering Vinyl decals and i can highly recommend it. It looks great afterwards.
Here is the Link to the Video:

I used this in my LAH. Easy install and looks great. Half of the chrome was off the apron.

I have a DE Last Action Hero. I do not think the knocker ever worked. Now I have the new chip with 1.13 code that uses the knocker various times during the game such as getting an extra ball.

I changed the coil and checked the fuses (all good). I did a diagnostic test, and the knocker did not fire. The manual was not helpful for me.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Quoted from gdonovan:

1) No question, DEJP is much better, had both and I have made it to San Diego mode.
2) R&B had as part of a lot buy, LOTS going on but no fan of the theme so it left. Solid layout though.
3) LAH great pin, lots of hardware, get the "aftermarket rom"
4) I wanted to like Trek but it's "get multiball, collect jackpot, rinse and repeat" even with the ChadH code.
5) TFTC is solid but usually has stiff price tag attached. People pay for the theme and good shooting.
LW3 is a gem with the ChadH code, regret selling mine but you can only have so many pins.

Yes on point 3. LAH was my first pin. Solid fun pin. Latest rom is great! Keeper.
