Don't suppose anyone has an NOS or a great shape Simpsons playfield they would want to part with? The Mylar on mine will remove half the playfield if I take it off and it's bubbling and flaking badly.

Quoted from zerbam:

what is the value of a used Data East plunger with the DE letters on the knob?

They are still available new for around 35/40 Euro

Quoted from JodyG:

I have the DE simpsons ramp coming up for production shortly, and I am trying to decide what is easier for the end user when it comes to the 5 flasher sockets-
Option 1- I include the sockets already installed (with rivets), and the end user solders the wires onto the sockets themselves.
Option 2- I don't include the sockets, and the user will drill out the rivets on the old ramp, and reattach the sockets/harness to the new ramp via rivets or #5 bolt/screws.
Option 2 is a bit cheaper...but I want to make it as easy as I can for folks.
Opinions?

Option 1.... I’m just wondering how big the box is going to be to get one to the UK

Quoted from SilverUnicorn:

I do have one question. The Simpsons I got came with a NOS plastics set. It also came with these:

These appear to be NOS plastiocs but are clear with a blue color background. There is no color whatsoever, and there is no backing paper on most of the plastics (One pic shows the blue covering but also what it looks like once removed)
Any idea what these were for?

I’d say a test run of the plastic set. There’s a key fob out there in the blue too
