Working on a friends Bttf. Gsme is now fully shopped and working 100%. The only other thing he asked was could I find weaker flipper coils. I know the ball goes flying off the drops and I've read other people complain as well. Anyone else go one size down? Results ok? Which coil would be good to swap to.

Looks great. Do you have any probs with airballs off center drops? Working on a friends BTTF and it seems data east flippers are pretty strong and destroy drops and get lots of airballs...thx

Driving a few hours away to look at a friends Bttf. Pop bumpers not working....Ill prob start with fuses and go from there. Anyhting else on the Power board to look at. Game has not been serviced in a while so may bring the board back since most likely something caused the fuse to blow if that's the issue.

Double posting this on a separate thread where I just picked up a L/W 3 to shop for the bus driver at my Moms senior center Trying to help him out....Game was dead. Power supply repaired and now back in business. It boots.

3 issues:

1) No backbox lights

2) Issue now is I had 2 coils lock on....Got smoke and coils fried. Need to see where to check Tips/ replace coils. They were right Vuk in the back and the lower left kick back. I have not started a game but in test mode when I cycle coils I get all the coils controlled by MPU to fire, the knocker and flashers.I am not getting any others to fire I can write them down but looks like ball launch, drop targets reset etc.

Any ideas? I like the newer williams manuals where they list each coil, where they get power, tips etc.

3) Pinball life does not have 23-840 coil?

Just got Lethal weapon boards back from being serviced...Ill reach out and double check with him but thought I would try here first.

Started game. And in the first couples seconds it blows the F5 fuse for flipper power....I feel very confident all connectors went on my MPU and PBB board when I reinstalled.

Anything to check off the bat that could be obvious to troubleshoot. Thx.
