I'm working on a DE Monday Night Football. This is the first time I've played one and the flippers are just crazy powerful; lots of airballs, shots flying off the ramps, etc. I was sure that when I checked the flipper coils I'd find the wrong ones but nope, they are correct. Also checked to see if the transformer was set for low line voltage. It wasn't. So is this normal, and if not is there something else I should be looking at? Thanks!

Check to see if you have a coil pulse setting in the setting. joe

No, not an option on this game.

I have this game and get a bunch of airballs all over! However, the shot to the jackpot ramp is fine which leads me to believe it's just a poor design. Oh, and LED's make this thing look AMAZING...

There are old "coned" shaped rubbers on the inner post that should be changed to straight. This will help greatly

Hate to resurrect such an old thread here but I've got a MNF as well and am in full agreement with the op. My coils are to spec, and just rebuilt both flippers, with the help of vids rebuild article (thanks vid), and yeah, they're now both stooopid powerful. I'm thinking of maybe replacing with some slightly weaker coils even. I'm afraid this thing's gonna destroy itself. Is that a good idea, or a bad one?

I think I've got all straight rubbers on my posts as well, but wouldn't mind some clarification on that last comment by PjM if possible, in case I am confused. It only took me reading it 5 or 6 times for me to even think I understood what he meant, so I could still be way off, and by no means his fault, im a little slow. Thanks fellas.
