Quoted from Cycloneman:did you check the voltages with a meter
I did, Everything is normal. I can't figure it out.
Quoted from Cycloneman:ok,do you have another ribbon cable you can try?
I've tried new ribbon cables, and new ROM and new Controller board. Same issue.
Swapped in Good DMD's, no bueno. It's DMD works in other machines.
I feel like there is something with the power supply or driver board. Fuse F7 on the supply(.5a SB) was blown.
Whenever I hookup the 7pin connector with the high voltage to the power supply, the far left pop bumper flashes continuously and it ejects two balls, everytime.
But its not the high voltage itself I don't think, because I have the same issue with a Color DMD.
Arrrrgh
Quoted from PinballManiac40:that is for the high voltage, which the ColorDMD does not use.
Are you doing this with power on? If so, that is not a good idea.
Post a picture of everything in the backbox and the back of the speaker panel.
I’m aware it doesn’t use the high voltage, and no I’m not doing anything with the power on.
