Data easy time machine here with lower displays not displaying correctly ... Game was missing display when I got it ... I put a pin led in and uppers are fine but lowers are missing segments .... Tried rotating the ribbon no change ... Swapped the 6821 that feeds the display ... No change ... What else could cause this ??

Try checking for broken solder/reflow pins on the board header for the ribbon cable?
