Data East, 1991This is my first Data East game. Does anyone know a source for the translucent yellow shooter rod with DE on it? The one I have has some cracks, but is usable. Just looking for a spare.

Joined the club this week. I am planning a full restoration. My main concerns I want to fix right away are the following: Joker ramp (broke in usual spot) I want to buy a new ramp with decals. I am missing two posts on the game on both sides of the pop bumper are. Can someone tell what size and where to buy this. I want to do the die cast upgrade for jokermobile and batplane. Playfield is fairly rough and would like to redo it. I anyone has these parts to sell please reach out. Thank you!

Overall by the standards of what many Batman DE are right now, thats a nice looking game you have there!
If Im not mistaken the posts on either side of the bumpers are of this variety https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/530-5004-00 I would also put some plastic washers underneath when you screw it in.
I recently reached out to Freeplay40 and I think he is out of Joker ramps, and unfortunately I believe his mold broke so not planning more in the near term . .
I did my teardown not too long ago and lots of pics posted of that process, if I can be of any help let me know. Good luck and enjoy

Hi guys, can someone please confirm if Batman has this connector (circled in the picture) just inside the cab below the right flipper button? Picture is from a Lethal Weapon 3 machine. I would assume it does as Batman is only a year earlier in production but i don't have the machine to check nor know anyone locally who has one.

Cheers yeah that's all good. I had read that those particular spare connectors were not on all Data East machines and from what i remember about the article it mentions something about import machines either did or did not have them (i can't recall which 
)
Main reason for the connector was a place to tap into 12V and Ground for a mod. On the LW3 machine with that circled connector the black and grey wires at opposite ends of the plug are 12V and GND.

Hi, just finished workshopping my Batman, the centre panel inserts (in front of the batcave) work in attract but not in game play. Is this a ROM version issue? not sure how to check the version I have and cant find a readme with revisions.

It is the one flaw in my machine that the previous owner used a batman forever sticker to cover up.

no real update, but I figure if I print my own by the time I print samples on paper and then do the overlay, I will be in about the same amount or more than just ordering from Pinball Center.

Basically the four outer corners where the backglass would reside; a small area on the bottom for the jackpot scores as well .

Data East used blinkers on the back box board.
Mostly on the bottom. but some were added elsewhere on the plain.
Added a bat signal. Found a battery powered toy at the local Barnes & Noble bookstore. Disassembled and removed the guts, used a Dremel tool to cut the back and then added a Comet spotlight kit inside. Hopefully located in a spot where it won’t get beaten up with airballs.
