DMD works, sort of. Areas of the DMD work somethings and not other times. To say it "flickers" wouldn't be quite accurate, it's more of large portions of the DMD taking turns not working. I checked the PSU voltages at the DMD and all appear to be OK. Grounding looks OK. Jiggled ribbon connectors and reseated other connectors with no change.

Thoughts? Should I just get a new ribbon cable set?

Was totally dead a while ago, replaced the 5V connector on the DMD board and worked fine. It's slowly crept up to this point. No other Data East machines handy to try it in, although I may be able to track one down locally.

Have regions of the display that would die over time, and hot change depending on the video frame. However I just "youtubed" out gassing DMD and it does look very similar to what I have. Thanks!!!

Negative. A new DMD is on the way from MAD, will post after it's installed.
