While trying to install new flipper coil, one of the wires after stripping was dark. I don't know if that's oxidation or past excess heat, but the solder would run off from it like it was wax paper. I know it was hot enough as the insulation was starting to melt. How for back in the wiring harness does this darkness go? What's the secret to get the solder to take?
