The dancing dummy coil on my party zone pulses but does not completely fire. I replaced the coil and still have the same results and all the other coils on the machine work as they should. I am pretty sure it’s assembled correctly. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Good one.

That blue pad doesn't belong there. Too thick. Should be a grommet.

https://www.pinballlife.com/tan-rubber-grommet.html goes in the hole at the bottom of the bracket.

It actually calls for the blue pad in the manual. I already tried some thing thinner and that didn’t work.

The coil bracket looks backwards. There should be more space for the coil spring.

The bracket is how it should be. If I lift the dummy from the playfield it pulls down when it fires and does not fire upwards

Need a better photo of the coil. To me it looks like you've got a way-too-thick spring in there

This is the best pic I could find on here

I meant of YOUR coil assembly. That first photo is from your game right ?

Yes the first pic is from my game the second pic is from somebody’s machine on party zone club thread

Here’s a better pic of my actual coil. The rod moves freely through the assembly

Looks like a self welded rod/plunger.
If this is a solid metal rod, then it will only get magnetized by the coil and not pulled into it.
There need to be a part of the rod non-metallic so the rod will be pulled into the coil.

Is there anything I could do other than try to find a new plunger?

First, I would check if my assumption is correct.
I have no Party Zone to compare how exactly this rod should look like but it is something like this:

If so, it need to be replaced.

My rod is solid steel. Luckily, Absolute Pinball sells one that says needs a slight modification to the bracket. https://www.absolutepinball.com/shop/plunger-push-rod-for-party-zone-dancing-dummy-assembly-a-14882/ I had never heard of them before but they sell a lot of parts.

So I purchased the rod for the dummy and all works great now. I also found a cosmic cottage plastic but do not have the bracket. Can anybody tell me the part number for this? I could not find it. Not sure exactly where it mounts either. Thanks for all of the help so far. Its funny that somebody went to all that trouble to fabricate the rod that was in my machine and it didn't work.
