Ice Age did it for me as well. I think I cherry picked a couple high power cards for my deck from later sets but I can;t even remember

It's a class thing. Pete that used card protectors on their cards were lovers... I couldn't stand it and it was imbaressing.
Now if you don't mind I need to take a peak through my horribly damaged once valuable cards

I'm happy I sold mine. I did have an emotional attachment after all those years but it was a nice chunk of change, and helped me buy a pin.

You get some damn nice coin on Ebay, but boy when they take their cut it hurts.
