    Quoted from Pesmerga:

do you know what can cause this kind of damage

The cap on the plunger slamming into it.

Replace with a new bracket. Or the rubber thing or a big washer.

    Quoted from Pesmerga:

it is normal that the plunger cap slams on it like that?

I'd check the manual if it's the right plunger. If so it's normal. I wouldn't put in a stronger spring, that would make the kick weak.

I was going over the manual. A lot of the plungers have a cap on the end like that.

Where the bracket wears, I'd put that piece of rubber, or a thin metal washer. So the bracket lasts longer.
