Could someone post a pic of their dalek topper connections? I'm not great at following schematics, but would like to learn. I managed to find an (expensive!) old topper for my machine, but some wires are loose, connectors don't match, and I would like to keep things intact when I plug it in.

Thanks.

I cannot tell if that's a prototype or one of Mark's. Don't bother looking in the schematics; nothing is there. This is not a production feature.

These are the instructions that Mark posts

http://www.basementarcade.com/arcade/drwho/MakingOf/Wobble10b.pdf

It should at least identify the connections. Wire colors could be different.

Thanks for that. I think its original by the looks of the connectors. Not as elegant as the ones in Marks instructions . I saw they sold the motor, but sourcing the dale itself is hard. Have to keeping sorting thought all the leads...

I completely forgot about this site. It outlines everything:

Thanks faz, that looks to be exactly what I needed. Time to either get the little nasty working or at least have an original looking topper.

for anyone with an original topper, can you let me know where the origin is for the 12v lead going to the motor driver board? I know the driver plug comes off J122-1, just not sure if the +12v plug is supposed to be from J107-5 or not as it's 20v.

We have success! Thanks for the help. That should scare the kids even more now. Works like a charm.

Nice! Congrats.

It adds a nice dimension to MB as well as Video Mode.

Enjoy!

The top flips up to reveal Davros? That would be cool.
