remove the black double wire from the second position on the start button itself, place it on the bottom connection (the one that is kind of by itself). then take the purple/black wire and put it in the position where the double black wire was.
Quoted from gliebig:Like this?
No, look where the red arrow is in my picture. Put the black wires back where they were.

Quoted from bondavi:I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I planned to order a NIB DI LE to get one nib before production ends. But it seems that quite a few people are posting their DI's up for sale, and there seems to be a glut of stock everywhere, either NIB or lightly used examples.
I've been focused on adding other, older pinballs (Funhouse, Whirlwind, etc), and have sort of a feeling that I shouldn't be in such a hurry to order or buy a DI at this point @ $9k.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Do you see DI prices (either open or NIB) sinking before going up?
I put DI in same category as TNA and to a lesser extent Houdini, unlicensed pins are usually bought by those who are absolutely sure that they want the pin. Licensed pins get the benefit of doubt regardless of how they play because of the theme. Route operators are more likely to purchase licensed pins with the knowledge that non pinheads will put money in the machine because of the theme. There is just more available supply with themed pins, the current unlicensed pins are going to collectors who are not willing to sell. Also congrats on your decision to buy a DI....IMO it is the best JJP pin and I have all three.
My lightning bolt dude works when I start a game but stops moving mid game. The error report just says to check the mech. What should i be looking for?
Quoted from gliebig:What should i be looking for?
Under the playfield. See if the allen head set screw holding shaft to motor is loose.

?
Quoted from gliebig:They seem pretty tight. Should they be screwed in more?
Run the motor in device test and look and see if the shaft is turning, below the collar the two set screws are on. Grease and oil on it, so you should be able to see if it's spinning and not turning the collar.

Yee haw. I gave them just a click of tightness and motor test seems to work. You da man!
Thanks bud.
Quoted from brucipher:Press both flippers right after you lock the first ball (I think during the first ring of the phone indicating multiball is ready). I just keep bashing both flippers at the same time as soon
as I lock ball one to make sure I delay it.
I did that. How do you light lock again after that to lock more balls?
Quoted from gliebig:I did that. How do you light lock again after that to lock more balls?
U cant.. it so u can start a mode with mb. The mb get progressively harder to light and you lock more balls every time.
Quoted from gliebig:I did that. How do you light lock again after that to lock more balls?
When you delay the multiball, the phone will light to start it again after you start a disaster mode, or at the start of the next ball if you drain before starting a disaster mode.
I have two Dead Red LEDs in the phone. Send two e-Mails 18/23 May and one week later with no Feedback i Open a Ticket on JJP Website.
Until now no feedback received.
Having an issue with my headphone port on my game. I have to crank the music up to the max volume of 50 and I can barely make out the sound with my headphones on. Is there a setting I have to change or has anyone run into this issue?
Thanks.

I plugged my headphones in for the first time the other day and only got sound from one side. Is there a fix for that?

Open the metal box in the head and turn the connector for it around. It's on backwards.

Roger. So it's in the backbox. Hopefully it's labeled. I haven't explored the backbox too much yet.

Pinouts are in the manual. Towards the rear.
Or try the small board right inside the cabinet on the front left corner. Remove the connector, turn 180 degrees, and stick back on.

I must say, support is slower than several months ago.
Frank has been helpful to me but it has been 3 weeks and I still haven’t received my replacement optical sensor for the theater. I lost patience s week back, ordered both optical sensors, molex contacts, molex connector and crimpers from arrow electronics and made it myself. Otherwise I would still have a non working theater.
I also have an led out on my left orbit which requires a whole new left shots LED board and two drones with non working props. Waiting on Frank to see if they will take care of those.
It is a shame that one LED flakes out and a whole 200 dollar board needs replacing. .
Love my Dialed In but support does seem less responsive. I think poor frank is overloaded.

I turned the connector 180 degrees on the lower left side by the coin door. I now have sound but it is only coming into one headphone. I opened the metal box in the back box but don’t see which connector I need to flip 180 degrees.

Quoted from jrawlinson_2000:I found a steel flap just sitting on the playfield by the left loop on my Dialed In yesterday, I can not see anywhere is is missing from can any one else suggest where this has come from?[quoted image]
Probably the trap door on the left orbit about halfway up the left side.
Yeah, the trap door is notorious for lifting too high and snapping the flap off. There are workarounds in the DI club thread.

welcome to the "DI trapdoor-flap club !
Sorry -- But I wanted to add this plug in here for my party event that is in about 3 weeks. I am posting late so I am trying to give it some exposure for those that are able to stop by and enjoy some great pinball / food and drinks -- All Free and tons of fun.

I can not find any workaround for this.
Do I need to get a new trapdoor?

I contacted JJP when I found my flap had snapped off. They sent me a new trapdoor, so you may have to do the same.

I want through four trap doors in less than a year. Once I added the nut to the coil sleeve I haven't had a problem.
P.S
I did have to grind down the height of the nut, because a full nut was too much.

So I have a new trapdoor coming, is it easy to fit?
Also is the game OK to play without the flap or will the balls get 'nicked' up?
