    Hello,

I have not seen any thread which can unite Czech fans. I would like to discuss here about places where you like to play but also places where you don´t like it. Me and my friend are working on webs http://flippery.cz/ and https://www.facebook.com/flipperyvcr where you can see the map with pinball machines in Czech Republic. I will be very happy if you let me know some new places where can we play and I hope that we will discuss about actual situation in our country

    #6 8 years ago
    Quoted from Alan_L:

We will be cruising from Budapest to Vienna to Nuremberg, and I will be looking for places to play in these cities as well.

Do you know pinball museums in Budapest http://www.flippermuzeum.hu/en/ and Neuwied http://www.flippermuseum.eu/. It will be good to don´t miss it if you will be near

    #7 8 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Nice to see you here. I'm 3/4 Czech.

Great! How did you get to United States from Czech?

    #8 8 years ago

    FOR ALL:

If you come to Prague please let me know before. I can help you to find working pin. It is little bit hard in Prague with pins because the main operator does it not so good so the most of pins are working very bad. We plan to put our STTNG in one club in Prague so I will let you know when it will be done. Then you can be sure that it will work right..

    #9 8 years ago
    Quoted from Strummy:

I might have to check out the Dirty Harry in Liberec. My wife's family has a chalupa in Dolni Svetla which is not far from there. Ty vole!

This is great idea because this pin is in a very nice condition..

    I'll be there soon

Hope you enjoy STTNG. When will you come? Maybe we will put there Popeye too

and the sound must really be coo too. Where is that at?

    The place is here..

    Quoted from Strummy:

Coolest arcade that I have been to. It looks kinda like a dungeon

When were you there? STTNG is working right from Monday. There was Borg issue

Popeye has a problem with the plunger solenoid from Monday so we will replace it asap

If you like arcade games don´t forget to visit also the biggest arcade museum in CR. It is really very nice experience

    http://www.arcadehry.cz/homepage

    https://www.facebook.com/arcadehry

    #19 8 years ago

The entry is about USD 11,- for whole day. You don´t pay for each machine..

    #21 8 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

That's a darn good price. If you want people to hang all day your gonna need food and booz. Then they would spend even more money. Some lit playfields on the walls would be some cool accent lighting, I have them on my walls and ceiling.

This is not our business. We are only supporting by our pins. They plan to rebuild it inside so there will be larger bar and they will put there more lights near pins. We will wait if they will be played so maybe we will put there third pin

You should have many cheap pins in US when you can put them on the wall

I am always very happy when we can buy one and put him on the wall is the last thing which I will use it for

I have also seen very nice table made from the playfield but we play them rather

    #23 8 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

A Pinsider in Belgum I think has inexpensive parts and playfields. Can't remember his name.

Please let me know when you will know

    Thank you.

    Petr

    Quoted from Strummy:

I was there last Friday. Thanks for arcade museum tip I'll go there next time I return.

You are welcome. Don´t forgot also for the second place as I wrote. It is much bigger and the are also two pins

    Hi all,

If you are going to go to Prague, don´t forget to visit new pinball place https://www.facebook.com/joystickbarprague where we have MSF, JP and STTNG. There should be also Baywatch in 14 days and we plan to put there more machines. There are also arcade machines and the big selection of Czech beers

How many people will you have for league play?

There were 15 players at last tournament so I think that will come more..

Btw Rollergames are not our but the operator of Joystick..

    #38 7 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

15 is a good turnout, good line of games. Any prizes?

Yes I let make wooden articles with our logo and Joystick bar also gives discount for the drinks at the end of the tournament. I have also ordered T Shirts so I am waiting for the design from my friend. The winner of the league will get a cup and a very nice present but it is secret till the end of the league

    Quoted from MustangPaul:

WOW, that looks beautiful. Has that been restored?

Yes, we bought him before one year or more but we had an opto issue which was hard to resolve for us so we worked on different machines but once came his time to make complete repair + cleaning + leds + foil cover and this is the final result. It is my heart pin

    Quoted from pezpunk:

Thanks for posting, i'll Czech it out!

If you plan to visit Prague and play some pins the best solution is Joystick Bar. I can also check for you the places where you find "new" Sterns but I can´t guarantee the condition..

    Quoted from Coindork:

    I was pretty content.
Everything was in decent playable condition.
I dont think anything was down while I was there or had major issues.
On a side note, it was kind of interesting to see the coin doors on all the machines.
It was evident that they were collected from all over the place.
Some were basic coin rejects with no denominations noted, but several were in various currencies from whatever country they were on route before.
A couple were in Euros, one was in British Pounds, one was in German Deutsche Marks etc.
I dont know why, but I find that kind of thing really interesting.

I am happy that you were content with our machines. It took a lot of work to put them in this condition. JP is the last machine which was not completely repaired so I hope that his time will come soon.

Czech machines were / are usually imported from whole Europe so therefore you can see many kinds of coin doors but every machine is equipped with the sticker so you can see which coins are accepted by each machine

    Quoted from JackMorten:

    Hei
I just want to say that I am very proud of the ONLY European Country with balls when it comes to the aggressiveness of the Chinese dictatorship...
Our factory and development are in Taiwan, and we are planing to make a shipping/distribution centre within the EU for our products, we mostly sell to other distributors inside the EU, and even most of our end-user customers are European.
Or, we might try to make a cooperation with an existing Czech supplier of Pinball Parts.. In that regard, can anyone point me in the direction of any Czech pinball suppliers/web-stores? Because, if we can put our distribution centre in the Czech Republic, I feel we can give something back to the Czech people who support our fight for freedom and democracy...
    Thanks a lot

    Quoted from MustangPaul:

H Jack, hope your plans work out for you. I just heard from one of my customers in Germany that as of today the government put a 25% tariff on pinball game and all parts. Have you heard anything. If true that could put a serious dent in your business. PM me if you hear anything.

    Hi,

This is very strange. I have noticed we (EU) have much more expensive Stern pinballs than before and one dealer told my friend it is caused by the government in USA. Do you please know something about it? I am buying parts from Germany and they are still the same but maybe they are made in EU.
