Mine used to drain SDTM every time it kicked out. I learned to hip check the machine right as the ball was ejecting to knock it off course. I finally loosened the boomerang assembly, adjusted it and re-tightened. I can't remember precisely what I did but it no longer goes SDTM. My point is that if you adjust the metal hardware you can align it so it doesn't go SDTM.
