IIRC it's in the top right of the backbox

Awesome !
Thank you.
My pin is against a wall and I generally can’t see the corner it’s in.
I’m hoping it’s just unplugged from the power. Free play or not, something about hearing that knock that give me that warm and fuzzy feeling.

Run the coil test for sure, but likely unplugged or a locked coil I would think. Not sure if it is fused separately, check that.

I found where the knocker should be.
Upper left hand corner.
I Couldn’t find it because it’s sadly not there.
If anyone has a line on a knocker for a Williams cyclone please let me know...

It's probably pretty generic. Look up the part number in the manual and search for it. Probably something like this:

I also have a Cyclone and it didn't had a knocker, if it had one before, the parts manual would at least list it.

you may be mistaking the cyclone backbox layout for High speed since they are quite similar system.

Its in the top left of the backbox. If its not there, then you should still see wires leading up to it and screw holes where it was removed.

Heh, quite possibly. Had them both, worked on them both.

It’s definitely missing. Upped lefr hand corner.
Screw holes and wires plugged into nothing.
Hoping to get one for my birthday. It’s on the list.

Well, after looking it up again, it seems like I have been missing on that knocker the whole time without noticing it

So to make up for my stupidity since I should have done this first, here's a link for the cyclone parts manual: http://www.wwyss.ch/Arcades_Manuals/Manuals/Pinball/Cyclone_Parts_Manual.pdf
As a bonus, here's the service bulletin that is related to the cyclone, which I know would have helped me when I started working on my machine (it's not related to the knocker but it covers some missing info in the parts manual and a bit more): http://howtopinball.com/files/pinball/paperwork/williams/system_9-11/service-bulletins/Williams-Service-Bulletin-Book-1989.pdf

And finaly, the knocker assembly p/n is B-10686-2.

Now I have to order one for myself to get thwe full experience

I skimmed through this thread because I have fond memories of playing Cyclone in the student union while in grad school.

Funny thing is that I have the knocker turned off on our 3 games. I don't mind it too much, but my wife and others in the family (they all play) find the sound too harsh & disturbing in a home environment.

The knocker Is finally installed and fully functioning!
It was actually more trouble to get the pin out so I had room to install it.
After that it was a piece of cake.
Thank you all for you coaching and advice.
