Start with a visul inspection of this connector. Pull it off, check both male and female pins and crimps for clean and shiny, tug on wires look for brown/burned housing, wiring or pins.
If you don't anything wrong with it let us know.

Quoted from freddy:

how about a shorted bulb socket?

No. This would blow a fuse. More likely is a high resistance/open somewhere.

Quoted from mof:

Does white Violet come out of head anywhere but this guy?

Diagram below is from PinBot since I could not locate it for Cyclone, so check original manual if you have one. Notice (at least on Pinbot) that there's no Y split on violet/wht-vio pair like there is on the yellow/wht-yel pair. This should be one of the easier branches to troubleshoot.

Quoted from mof:

When I measure sockets. They are 4.8vac a little low.

That is a problem...you have 6.5 vac at the connector but only 4.8vac at the sockets. Measure continuity for low ohms from connector to playfield for each (violet and wht-vio) with bulbs removed from socket. Voltage should be the same from that connector to the first socket in the branch.

Quoted from mof:

I have 6.5ac to the pf connector. That eliminates back box.

Quoted from mof:

Bingo. 3.8 ohms resistance in the backbox-to-PF-connector.
My brain did not pick up that a small drop like that was a factor, but of course it is. My guess now is bad crimp on a connector. Will replace one end of white-violet, and report back...
Hey as long as I learned something, it's all worth the extra time...
