Prepare to replace balls every month... by painting the bottom of the cabinet it does not allow the wood to "breathe" causing your balls to rust out at least once a month. Just a heads up.

Prepare to replace balls every month... by painting the bottom of the cabinet it does not allow the wood to "breathe" causing your balls to rust out at least once a month. Just a heads up.
Even though there are still other holes to allow air to move, the wood naturally absorbs moisture and if the entire inside of a cabinet is painted the moisture cannot be absorbed by the wood causing the moisture to go nowhere and your balls to rust.
