So my flippers look like a rats nest right now. They were causing the game to reset itself. I have totally new coils and rebuilds for them but my question is are they supposed to have a wire soldering them together like that? Anyone have a good pic of what should go where?

Some one jumpered them. You are missing the yellow resistor on the eos switch on the left one.

What does jumperIing them do? How about the extra diodes soldered on the outermost switches?

Just a nicer term of some one hacked them to make them work. I looked for a picture of my cyclone but I don't have one. If you have rebuild kits the should come with new yellow resistors. Check out this video maybe it will help.

they jumped it to use the capacitor for both flippers ( Hack) each coil needs its own capacitor.

From the video I think most of the stuff is correct on your flippers even the wire that connects them it is the gray one in the video. Looks like the only thing you are missing is the yellow resister.

Yea yellow capacitor not resister.

What about these clearly not factory diodes? Do I need them anymore? I assume they were put in when I diode went bad on the coils to fix the reset problem it would cause.

Let's try that again
