Or even longer to cover it
It can be a max 1” tall 1 7/8” wide and 4 5/8 long over the shooter gauge and max 7 1/2” long overall

2manypins will have to give his input.

It currently is 1" tall, so can you slide the glass on now with it position there or is it too wide to actually fit? Regarding the width that is a small adjustment (I assume it is 1/8" too wide now). For the length, and extra 1-3/4" is quite a bit. Does it have to be that long, or what is the minimum overall length to cover the desired portion of the shooter lane?

I think your designed size will just about fit already. It will need to be 1 7/8” wide thou.
I’ll pm you my details

Here is the final Hurricane rendering. Just need to test print now. If my first print is successful, should be able to post pics tonight and begin taking orders for it.

You have to remove the screw on the strike plate but it will fit. I will double check when I get home m

Thanks. FYI, after discussing with him, I'm making a 1-7/8" wide version for his use (already printed the body, and working on seats now).

Amazing work! I guess it's time for me to decide on a size. Still thinking topper or other type display more than in the machines. I'll try to let you know by the end of the day. Thanks again for making these!

It's been a fun project. You can PM me when you are ready if you want something besides the stock coaster(s). We'll work out the details with the design, pricing, etc.

You may want to put the word "roller" in the title because when I looked at the title of the thread I thought they were drink coasters.

Good point . . . done.

FYI, if you're the impatient kind, I have 1 Comet and 1 Cyclone fully printed, lit, and ready to ship as soon as today. They go to the first person(s) to place an order for either one or both.

With the size right now, it fits perfectly on mine in the shooter lane with full view of the gauge.

Anybody have thoughts on the base color for the Hurricane? That looks like the toughest one to do a nice paint job on. Start with white maybe?

#64 2 years ago

Well, my initial Hurricane print had a few issues. I need to make a couple of design tweaks and reprint before I share with the group. Hope to have something up tomorrow.

#65 2 years ago

Here are some coaster placement options on the Cyclone.

That looks amazing!!
Is all blue the final color?

Thanks.

That is my default color since it most closely resembles the backglass graphic (blue sled, blue seat backs, black seat bottoms and support rails), but I can make in any of the colors I offer if you read the initial post. Some are purchasing in other base colors as they want to apply custom paint.

Got mine today, great job, looks nice.

Nice project. You guys are in good hands. Mr Tantrum is a perfectionist when he does this kind of work.

Looks great. I would have never thought to install it as a shooter cover, but I like it!

#74 2 years ago

Thanks to everyone who as ordered so far. If anyone is on the fence, I have a Cylone and a Comet printed, lit, and ready to ship as soon as tomorrow. I'll sell them as singles or as a pair to the first taker.

That's a MUCH better spot for it, because you deserve to see the plunger, I'd never obfuscate that area.

Do these still exist? I've just found a Hurricane under a load of rubbish is someone's barn, so I'm resurrecting it!

Long gone?

Please post pics in the Hurricane thread. Would love to see what you're dealing with.

I was wondering if those who have purchased any of my coasters in the past (Comet, Cyclone, Hurricane) could please post pics of them installed. I've had a few people ask where they go, but since I don't own any of the coaster pins its just a guess on my part.

Did you paint the Hurricane Coaster? If so would you mind sharing a picture?
