Hi , just picked up a bally midway cybernaut .When i got home to hook up the game i found 2 wires on mpu j2 and 1 j3 were pulled out of there cnnector .
i would need pics of those 2 connectors to reconfigure mine . Or any one with schematics ?

Tks

I've got a manual and schematics pdf.
If you need a copy, just let me know your email.
I already uploaded to the ipdb, but Jay is going slow.
Here is a part of the schematic to the MPU.
There you can see which wire goes where.
Look at the color code table, they are different than resistor colors.

I also have a nice Tech Chart on my website.
Look in the Bally or Tech Chart section.

found this

wow if the colors are right on this chart i have a really bad hack .
i think when the previous owner he pulled on the wires when he disconnected the game instead of pulling on connector . so just pushed wires back in , any spot ( connector looks suspicious )

not all colors in this chart match colors in my machine ( in the switch matrix ) . i have 9 that match , schematic says

j2-4 white yellow
j2-7 white violet
j2-10 yellow orange
j2-12 brown

wires i have left

orange yellow
white red
white gray
white orange

can someone help me solve this issue

Thanks

I see I forgot to add the image of the manual... Edited...

I think the best way to go is to track down where the wires go to.
Try to find which wire is connected to which switch.
You don't need to find all the switches in the matrix.
Two switches per wire will do.
Then you can use the switch matrix to see to which connector they need to go.

Thanks , will try that .

If the link does not work anymore, just send me a PM or email.

Can you please list the switch matrix wires for me?
Just for safe keeping in case the manual is wroung.
Maybe other games are wired in the same way with other colors than mentioned in the manual.
If that would be the case I might need to adjust the Tech Chart.

Thanks for listing the wires.
Maybe someone can look and verify this in their game too.
If it is confirmed I will change the Tech Chart accordingly.
