CV running official release 1.4 roms. Eddy sensor won't work on ringmaster hits. Confirmed power at eddy board and ground clipped to cabinet ground makes the eddy board work. (Registers in switch mode). 12v good to eddy board only if grounded out. J110-5 not going high or low. Power turned on by solenoid 40, which is controlled by U3, a ulm2803 and u4 a 74ls374. Swapped power driver board and data cables from monster bash and everything works. Validated data cables by swapping them. All good. Problem is in CV power driver board. Pulled U3 and U4, socketed them and put new ic's in. Still no love. Checked cables and connectors with meter. All seem good. Any ideas? Could my sockets suck? I verified solder job with a meter.

Something on my power driver board isn’t right, because swapping in the power driver from my monster bash does work. Only thing that controls eddy board power is U3 and u4.

I’ve read through every message I can find on eddy boards. I’m at a loss.

Game is running all original parts. (No pinbits, no Rottendog. Etc)

Problem solved: Turns out I lifted a trace when socketing U4. Ran a trace wire and all was well. (Takes tiny bow and leaves the stage)
