OK, just got me a fabulous CV. As soon as I start a game, the right flipper stays energized. Cleaned optos and no different. Then I tried swapping the little fliptronic PCB with the one on the left side. The problem then moved to the left side. Ah, said I. This proves the PCB is bad. Took a good PCB from another pin and put it in the CV and the problem is still there. The PCB I thought was bad works just fine in the other pin. This proves that there is nothing wrong with the fliptronics board, right?

I am so frustrated with this... Please can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm running 2.0 home rom.

Help really appreciated.

The ringmaster and I really thank you

Thanks - Roger

Quoted from LTG:

Go into switch edge test and see that both optos on the flipper button opto board WORK, and the interupter is making and breaking cleanly, not leaving an opto on or light leaking through the interrupter ( black tape on it fixes that ).
LTG : )

Lloyd, you're the best!!!

It was an interupter problem, as you suspected. Problem fixed!!

Thanks again to you Lloyd and to those others who would have chimed in to help me...
